PFGC's annual fundraiser event is the gun raffle.  In August, each member is sent 30 tickets to sell at $1 each.  In October, we collect all the tickets, place them in a rotating big barrel.  Tickets are then chosen in order from 1st prize to 5th prize with a 1st and 2nd alternate.  Requests for additional tickets can be made by calling Armand @ (603) 472-5081 or Jay @ (603) 867-8161.

Youth Events & 4H Sponsorship

One of the ways PFGC supports the community is through its relationship with the Boy Scouts and sponsorship of a 4H club.  In past years, PFGC, BSA (Boys Scouts of America) and 4H have teamed up to provide an annual youth shoot.  In addition, PFGC provides use of the range for the 4H Instructor Certification and Training.  We are evolving our efforts and are now planning on holding smaller sized youth shoot events on a more regular basis.  If you are interested in supporting this partnership or event, please contact Doug Wyman (603) 867-3703 and Adam Desrochers

The league starts in in the spring once the field and roads dry up and weather permitting.  Traditionally the league ends in August before the archery deer hunting season starts.  Shoots will be on Thursday nights, $5 if you want to join the 50/50.  Kids shoot for free.  Contact Al Dwire 533-7093 for more information on the archery league.

GSB Archery Shoots

A HUGE "Thank You"  to Ken and Team for setting up and running the 2011 GSB events.  This is one of PFGC's more publicly visible events to the archery community.  Ken and team's hard work go a long ways into upholding PFGC's positive reputation for holding a quality shooting event.

Granite State Bowhunters (GSB) - Is an organization, separate but closely affiliated with PFGC whom is dedicated to promoting bow hunting and safe and lawful use of the bow and arrow.  PFGC holds one of their sanctioned shoots @ PFGC.  Our GSB Archery Chairperson is the key coordinator between the two organizations and organizing our shooting event.  This is a key component and fundraiser for the PFGC organization.  GSB has its own monthly membership meetings as well as a director's meeting to coordinate between GSB and PFGC.

If you are interested in helping out, please contact our new chairperson Ken Charest 247-5936

For 2012, PFGC will be hosting 2 GSB Shoots, Sunday May ___ and Sunday August ___
