NEW ITEMS NEEDING ATTENTION

Knife Legislation
There is a Protest in Concord Wednesday June 6th
in front of the State House. It is from 9-11am. The people who are
attending are being asked to carry your firearm holster but have it empty.
In place of a gun I will be passing out some pocket size copy of The US
Constitution and will be having these attend put them in their gun
holsters.
New Hampshire residents take 2 minutes and read this
petition.
This is for a proposed law to protect knife rights. (could be an
interesting 10th Amendment issue as well)
If you agree ... then sign the petition. (and if you want please forward to
other people.. the goal is 1000 signatures before this goes before the NH
House)

Bill SP32 - Below is the opening paragraph sent by Mr David
Canter, President. Click on
this link to read his full email.
There is a very dangerous legislative Bill which has made it
through the Senate already and which now is coming up for
implementation. SP132 is the designation of this Bill. Its purpose
is to help alleviate some of the fiscal problems the State of New
Hampshire is facing. Unfortunately, the proposed answer would merge
all State of N.H. law enforcement agencies and programs. While this
may appear to be a quick fix for our financial woes, we, as concerned
sports-people, believe it would be devastating to the interests we
have in wildlife management and the preservation of our natural
resources.
As discussed at the April Banquet dinner, PFGC is being called
upon to lobby. Our president Jack attended the public hearing to discuss this
bill on Thursday, April 23, at 11:00 a.m. in Concord (LOB 306).
5/12/09 Update - Jack and a few members went to Concord to
lobby. The bill was defeated.
4/30/09 Update - From Pete
Davidson, read the bill here:

here to view an saved copy of the bill write up.
You will note that their is already designated positions and
who is a candidate to fill those positions. Realize, by designating
these positions up front, if this Bill were to pass, the organizing of this
organization has the opportunity to start operating very quickly.
